For generations, our church has been a centre for worship and community life. This faithful way of life continues now through our diverse fellowship which welcomes everyone to praise God and serve their neighbour with us.
Sunday Services
Our community meets for Sunday worship in our historic church building on Walker Road, Torry, at 11am every week. We also hold services most Sundays at Kincorth Community Centre on Provost Watt Drive at 10am. Accompanied by our church choir, we gather to meet in prayer, and praise, and to reflect on the ancient wisdom of the Scriptures.
Our Team
Our minister, Rev. Dr. Edmond Gatima works alongside an MDS, Valerie Taylor, to lead and co-ordinate the ministries of the church. As in all Church of Scotland churches, they work in conjunction with a team of elders.
Our Vision
The Church of Scotland exists to be to be a church which seeks to inspire the people of Scotland and beyond with the Good News of Jesus Christ through enthusiastic worshipping, witnessing, nurturing and serving communities. Aberdeen South Church of Scotland aims to serve the local areas of Altens, Charleston, Cove, Kincorth and Torry with the same vision.
